What’s it like working here?

At Phipps we like to look after our team. Everyone gets £400 to spend each year learning a new skill - it helps to keep our busy working lives balanced. So far we’ve had fun learning how to windsurf, speak Spanish, arrange flowers, cook at Leith’s, taste wine at the WSET and apply makeup for the catwalk to name but a few.

We also have a quarterly social calendar - recent activities have included karaoke, a comedy club and roller-skating. We also operate a generous flexible benefits system and spend £1,000 a year per person on training and development.

Anna came to Phipps as an intern in 2003 and has worked her way up through the ranks to become an account director. Winner of the PRCA Young Professional of the Year award in 2007, Anna is living proof that the training programme at Phipps is second to none and that the company rewards hard work, commitment, skills and initiative:

Although I have now been at Phipps for over six years, the roles that I’ve had have challenged me in such a way that the time has flown by. Phipps is a fun, yet hardworking company, and with support from the management team I feel I have had the chance to acquire new skills and gain confidence on an almost daily basis.
